I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with experience treating clients from all walks of life.  I believe that therapy should be a collaboration between therapist and client, so while I bring expertise in psychological research and treatment to the table, you are the expert on your own life.  It takes immense courage to seek treatment, and it is your strengths, values, and commitment that will ultimately allow you to overcome the challenges you face.

My role in this process is to provide guidance and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that is not only practical for your specific needs but will allow you to improve your life in meaningful ways.  While I have experience treating a wide variety of conditions, I focus on counseling adults and adolescents suffering from trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and agoraphobia.  My primary therapeutic focus includes CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and mindful interventions.  However, I may incorporate other modes of therapy depending upon my clients’ unique needs and circumstances.

At the end of the day, I am dedicated to helping you build new skills as you utilize your personal strengths and experiences to progress towards recovery and growth.

I utilize components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy within a multi-systemic framework to help adolescents (age 14+), college students, and adults who are struggling with:

  • Trauma
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Major Depression
  • Agoraphobia

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), my goal is to help my clients achieve a greater sense of well-being and emotional balance in their lives. I understand that life can be challenging, and sometimes we need a little extra support to navigate the ups and downs. Through counseling, I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. With a strong background in psychology, I utilize evidence-based techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more.

My approach to therapy is tailored to each individual client’s needs, and I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to identify their goals and develop a plan to achieve them. I understand that seeking therapy can be a difficult and vulnerable process, and I strive to create a warm and empathetic environment for my clients.

My goal is to help clients develop the tools and coping strategies they need to overcome challenges and thrive in their lives. Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or simply looking for support and guidance, I am here to help. I am committed to helping my clients live their best lives and achieve their full potential.

Life brings us many experiences, and some of these can be especially challenging, especially for children and young adults. Deciding to start therapy is a courageous step, and I’m here to walk this journey with you, side by side. Together, we’ll build a trusting, compassionate relationship and create a safe, non-judgmental space where you or your child can explore thoughts, feelings, and challenges openly.

As we embark on this path of healing, we’ll work closely to understand your, or your child’s unique needs, creating a personalized plan that fosters growth and resilience. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques, including specialized approaches like Play Therapy, which often help younger clients feel more comfortable and engaged.

I’m here to support you in gaining skills that help you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, stress, or major life transitions, we’ll work together to foster growth, resilience, and change.
